1 Mindy Misty is currently collaborating with Europ Europ for a series of joined shows and a record project due sometime when done. Mindy Misty's bass-man Trond H. Jensen just released his debut solo album "Tribeca" under the pseudonyme of Laconic Zero. Roy is leaving the band to study art in Copenhagen, We wish him all the best and we'll miss him deeply. Luckily Idar (lack of Zodiack, Youzai) is joining Mindy Misty as our new guitarist and we welcome him to the force. First show with new lineup is scheduled at Energimølla (Kongsberg) Feb 16th. In that joyous occation we're happy to announce that we've got one extra test press copy to give away. If you're half as vinyl nerd as we are and in addition to that might even appreiciate our music. you might be in for a treat. Help us solve the mystery and get rewarded. This is what happened. During one of our quite regular jam sessions last week, Rag's was documenting the action trying out his new highly complex snap shot equipment. Well into the session all of a sudden strange things started to happen. After a series of blackouts, lights flashing, and bucket loads of cosmic noise, we found ourselves in the vicinity of stellar mayhem. Strangely this intriguing episode ended as quickly as it came. When the blur had lifted and we'd all regained our conscience we headed out to Rag's lab to see if we'd find some clues to an explanation through his photo documentation. What we were about to discover mearly added to our confusion. There was solid evidence of paranormal activities in the photos, some of which was quite disturbing. We believe there are a total number of six paranormalities on one of the two similar photos. Help us point out the six differences and you might be rewarded with one copy of the five existing test pressings of protoplasma. If you're on to something feel free to offer an explanation as well. June 6th (6.6.6) New gig at Grønnlandshagen June 16th with Donjon Doxy. May 22nd. Hamar gig postponed - new date June 2nd. April 26th. Debut album "Protoplasma" will be mixed by Legend Kramer of Shimmy Disc (Half Japaneese, Butthole Surfers, Lou Reed, Low, Ween, Urge Overkill, Thurston Moore, Allen Ginsberg, Daniel Johnston, Moe Tucker, Debbie Harry, Yo La Tengo, Velvet Monkeys Etc....) Mixing will begin June 12th. M.M will finish all studiowork on the record at Darkroom in Kongsberg 6-7 May with Vegard Eggum. Mindy Misty played a surprise gig at Hersleb Skole in Oslo april 22nd celebrating the Indian new year 2559. Representing western musical culture. The concert was part of an ongoing effort to encurrage to a peaceful dialog between the Tamils and Singhalese in Sri Lanka, and to underscore the importance of collaboration, and tolerance between different cultures and ethniseties.
